Andy is currently in StarHub, managing customer experience and satisfaction for broadband and TV products. In 2019, he was with Circles Life as Country Product lead managing the overall growth and revenue of the telco and partnership business. 


Prior to this, he had a 9-year stint with Singtel spanning across product management, product marketing, growth, digital and partnerships. With mobile, he have led the launch of 4G with new subscription price plans in Singapore while this skill set brought me to Optus Australia to do the same. In 2015, he have led the broadband and home solutions business, turning it around to positive revenue growth by developing the hardware sales business. In 2018, he brought Netflix to Singtel and led the growth of the OTT Video business through CAST and many other partners like VIU, HOOQ, Amazon Prime.

Marketing Manager, Singapore University of Technology and Design

David is currently an Academy Fellow and Marketing Manager at SUTD Academy and has over 8 years of experience in the Education industry having worked in NUS and James Cook University in the marketing capacity. DAVID TAY 

Assistant Director, Youth Engagement, National Youth Council

David Tay is an assistant director in the National Youth Council (Singapore). He leads a team that leverages digital engagement platforms to enable youths to play an active role in society by lending their voice and be empowered to take ground-up action. 

Prior to joining the National Youth Council, David worked with Singapore Press Holdings specialising in digital product development, and with the Ministry of Education as an educator focusing on education technology. Beyond work, David has also volunteered with the National Trades Union Congress as a Union leader.

Development Partner (Startup Development), Enterprise Singapore 

Marcus Wong is currently with the Startup Development Division in Enterprise Singapore, seeking to grow the Singapore startup ecosystem. He is also part of the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), and serves in EDGE. Finally, he's a Startup Scout with Amazon Web Services to support early-stage tech startups.
 

Before that, he was in the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, looking at industry development for the aviation sector and drones industry. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he joined Alpha to Omega, an education startup, as employee number one. While in university, he co-founded The Basement Cafe with four friends.

RA'BIAH GHAZALI

Assistant Head, Sector Workforce Development, Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS)

Currently working in the area of policy development at the statutory board MUIS, Rabi'ah has gone through three career transitions in her 14-yr career. She started out with MOE, serving out her bond as a teacher and the  curriculum planner. She then moved on to become an environmental educator at international NGO Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF), including a 1-yr stint in the Malaysia office, where she worked with schools to enhance their environmental education efforts. She rejoined the public sector and started work at Muis in 2014, where she is currently leading efforts to upskill and professionalise the Muslim religious sector. Based on her own experiences and struggles, she is passionate about helping youth to chart their career journeys.

RONNIE ANG YAO LONG

Assistant Director, Enforcement, Monetary Authority of Singapore

Ronnie has legal experience in both the private and public sectors. Before his current role in MAS, he was a commercial litigation lawyer in private practice. Now, he works in MAS’ enforcement department, going after those who flout financial regulations.

Vice President, HR for Digital & Tech, NTUC Enterprise

Andy is currently working as Vice President, HR for Digital & Tech at NTUC Enterprise where they are driving the digital transformation cross the NTUC Social Enterprises. Before joining NTUC Enterpriese, Andy was working with Shopee, the leading E-commerce startup in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, as its Technical Program Manager and he managed product development in Shopee's HQ. Prior to Shopee, Andy spent a few years building Enterprise Security products with IBM BigFix, the global leading endpoint management solution. And before joining BigFix, he was building and managing Online Travel Agency (OTA) products with Forecepts. Andy is married and has two young kids. Jonathan works to better protect and secure systems, networks and infrastructure for the Public Service. He works to build awareness around good cyber hygiene practices and protect the organization against new threats in this evolving digital world. 


Jonathan gained his experiences prior in organizations such as Microsoft, Dimension Data, BMW and RWS and is fortunate to have lived and worked in places like USA, Vietnam and Thailand. Kelly is a mother, a manager, and a dreamer. She is passionate and advocates “everyone can move the world forward" through collaboration and innovation. She loves to be the catalyst for business and create value to companies and customers. 

 

With more than 17 years of experience in engineering, product management, marketing and business, she was an engineer in the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer, travelled to more than 18 countries before turning 30. She was Best Employee at the global top mobile phone company, in charge of more than US$100 million revenue. She was also an IBMer, leading the Smarter Finance project for the largest Taiwanese commercial bank. She hustled between startups and corporates, a product owner of one of the largest social entertaining platforms in ASEAN, fundraised more than $20 million and digitised and managed the largest loyalty platform in Singapore, with more than 90% household penetration rate.

 

Kelly is now Head of Singapore at Snapask, an EdTech company to make education more effective, personalised and accessible to everyone.

Code Mentor, Computhink KIDS SG

Sor Ling is a code mentor and she teaches kids coding. She have worked in the IT industry for over 20 years, most of the time spent on software development projects. She graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Computer Studies Diploma.  Then she went to NUS and got her Computer Science Degree. She spent 13 years with one of ST Engineering company.  In ST, she started as a software developer, and over the years she took on more responsibilities.  She was a Technical Consultant when she left ST. She have worked in "dot com" companies (in year 2000), SMEs and large corporation like ST Engineering.   She have worked in both private (SMEs or SGX listed company) and public (Government job) sectors.

 

"How many jobs have she had?", you must be wondering. "Talk to her, and she will tell you." She loves coding, and she knows about 25 programming languages (and counting).

Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, Automation Anywhere

Shermin has 6 years of experience in the digital transformation industry, specialising in Robotic Process Automation, SaaS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Digital Asset Management. She is a currently a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant with Automation Anywhere where she evangelizes the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to help organisations reduce costs/risks and increase speed, accuracy & compliance.

Bryan has 12 years of experience in Banking and Finance. He started his career as a Graduate Talent and spent 4 years in Wealth Management Operations.  Subsequently, he decided to make a career switch in 2012 to pursue his passion in the Learning & Development domain. EUGENE GUO

Assistant Manager, HR Business Partner – Industrial Relations, Inchcape Singapore

Eugene holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Plymouth, having studied Maritime Business and Maritime Law. Eugene has spent over nine years working across various sectors of the maritime ecosystem and has accumulated experiences in both the public and private sectors. Eugene started his career with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). During his four-year stint with MPA, Eugene championed the development of a competency and training framework, a progressive training and career advancement model for Vessel Traffic Officers. He was also secretariat to the Port’s Welfare Committee for Seafarers, and Tripartite Maritime Manpower Taskforce for Seafarers, given his organisational skills.

Wei Beng is an experienced researcher-turned regulatory affairs specialist in medical devices. Before stepping into the IP industry, Anni had worked in research and in scientific equipment sales. Anni works as a trainee patent agent in Intellectual Property (IP). IP is a blend of technology, business and law. She recommends those who are interested in this areas to consider a career in IP. Anni's main job is helping clients apply for patents. Patent agents start by writing the patent specification, describing the invention in detail, and what the clients want to protect. We need to communicate daily, with inventors, clients, examiners and foreign agents. Sometimes we are also involved in design or trademark registration. Besides patent agents, there are many other roles in the IP industry to suit people of all backgrounds and skills, e.g. patent examination, IP valuation, IP portfolio management.

SOBHITH K HARIHARAN

Team Leader - Engineering Systems | Gas Technology, Lloyd’s Register

Sobhith currently leads the Engineering Systems team in South Asia Technical Support Office, based in Singapore. He is also Lloyd's Register’s (LR) regional lead for gas technology aspects in South Asia as part of the South Asia & Middle East Marine and Offshore team. He leads service delivery of clean energy projects on LNG/LPG maritime transportation, Novel Fuel Technologies (LNG, LPG, Ammonia, Hydrogen), LNG bunkering facilities and Floating Storage & Regasification Units (FSRU).

Sobhith has been working with Lloyd’s Register for 14 years and has held various positions with the organization. He has worked in LR offices in Korea, Singapore and London with involvement in first FLNG (Prelude) project as well as first series of ice class LNG carriers. Since 2015, he has been heading the engineering systems team in South Asia and has dealt with a variety of new building projects including offshore supply ships, gas fuelled vessels, LNG/LPG tankers, naval vessels and offshore installations. Sobhith received his degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Glasgow, U.K. He also holds an MBA from Singapore Management University, Singapore.

Senior Security Analyst, An Security Pte Ltd

Junhao is currently a Senior Security Analyst at AN Security. He evaluates the correctness and effectiveness of security functions of IT products such as firewall, VPN, disk/file encryptors, secure email, etc, as well as the security of their corresponding product development life-cycle. The purpose of security evaluation is to offer assurance to consumers that the security functions of IT products are sound. Junhao began his career in the Navy in 2002. Seven years later, he transited to the engineering industry to pursue his childhood passion in engineering. Since 2009, he endeavoured in the area of embedded system security development/evaluation while working at Infineon, Intel, Singapore Technologies, UL, PCS Security and AN Security. He was fortunate to discover his passion in engineering at a young age, therefore, he hopes, through the mentoring process, he can help others to discover their own passion too.

Michelle has over 22 years experience in semiconductor industry, working on CIM and Fab information integration and upgrade, automation, productivity and cycle time improvement. As Head of the manufacturing department, she successfully led her department to achieve 9% productivity improvement through automation. One of her success story was to lead integration and upgrading of fab systems, to retire 80 legacy systems and converge to one unified and high efficient platform.

Analytics – Associate Director, Publicis Media

Wee Teck leads the SEA regional analytics team at Publicis Media and delivers projects for clients in different industries and domains. He is deeply passionate about solving business problems with data analytics and strongly believes that data analytics is more about deriving actionable insights for the business than purely creating models or algorithms. Having spent the earlier part of his career in roles spanning operations, business and process management, Wee Teck traverses easily between technical and non-technical domains and often acts as a bridge between business and data teams.

SRIDHARAN SRINATH

Principal Analyst, Changi General Hospital

Srinath works as a principal data scientist at Changi General Hospital (CGH) and leads data analytics efforts at health services research, CGH. He is keen on solving business problems, preferably in the healthcare domain, with data analytics. Having involved in a full cycle of data science projects enables him to talk to clients in business terms to understand their requirements and having rich experience in areas like data mining, computational modelling, multivariate statistics, etc. helps in translating business needs to technical terms to his team.

 

He is also deeply passionate about mentoring students and staff and has over 10 years of experience in mentorship of students of various levels (Secondary school, JC, Poly and University).

Principal Sustainability Strategist, Forum for the Future

Jiehui is a founding member of Forum for the Future’s office in Singapore, with 10 years of experience in the field of sustainability. She leads Forum’s circular economy work in the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on circular fashion, as programme manager of Circular Leap Asia, working with fashion manufacturers in Asia - Ramatex Group, Yee Chain and Cobalt (part of the Fung Group) - to fast-track circular fashion solutions through collaborations across the supply chain. She is also a member of the core team working on the Vision for a Net Positive Man-made Cellulosic Fibres sector. Jiehui has managed key Forum APAC partnerships across diverse sectors, such as Swire Shipping (marine), Ramatex (textiles manufacturing), SATS (aviation and catering), Sime Darby (agri-business) and Vector NZ (electricity). 

Prior to Forum for the Future, Jiehui worked at her family business in the precision engineering and manufacturing sector, as well as the Singapore Economic Development Board, helping to shape the Sustainable Singapore Blueprint and key sustainability events like the Singapore International Water Week and World Cities Summit. She holds a BBA (Hons) from the National University of Singapore.
